Our first time dining at The Hideaway. Excellent food and the dessert was amazing! The staff went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Our new favorite restaurant! We can’t wait to go back! We’ve ordered pizza several times from Nico B’s. Definitely the best pizza in town!

This was my first time at this wonderful restaurant, and I absolutely loved everything about this hidden gem in Placida! I had the salmon with forbidden black rice, which was so delicious, and my friend enjoyed the sirloin tips — both dishes were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We shared the cheesecake with peaches for my birthday, and it was unbelievably delicious — the perfect sweet ending! Darel one of the owners came over to welcome us and make sure everything was perfect, which made us feel truly special. The service was impeccable and exceptional from start to finish. I can’t wait to come back and try more! Highly recommended!

OMG! Oh my goodness! I took my beautiful wife out on a date night to The Hideaway. I could not have chosen a classier place to enjoy the evening. The attention and knowledge of the staff, the amazing meal and presentation. Jeez...the desert! We had a truly lovely evening. Thank you, everyone, at the Hideaway.

My wife and I absolutely love this hidden gem in Placida. Chef Stephanie is the most talented and passionate Chef we have ever met. Not many can say they are an exceptionable baker and an accomplished chef but she has exceeded on both parts. Her husband Darel runs the front of the house like a well oiled machine and makes sure you feel welcomed. All the staff are trained to meet they’d high standards and do a great job. Here are some photos from our latest visit. Yellowfin Tuna appetizer Pear and blue cheese salad Tuscan butter salmon Chicken tikka masala There is nothing like this in this area and thus should be a must place to eat if you are in the area. Check out the pizza next door at Nico B’s and of course Sassy tarts.

This is a cool little place and VERY popular. We went on a Wednesday night, arriving at 5:45. The place was already full and stayed that way for the almost two hours we were there. The wine list and the menu are limited but very good. I had a wonderful Bordeaux and my wife a very nice Sauvignon blanc. We split a poached pear salad. I had the sticky tuna which was very good and my wife had the scallops which were excellent. The dessert was a lemon blueberry trifle and it was outstanding. It’s not a big place, so the other patrons are close; think Paris bistro. Everyone we talked to was nice. Very cool vibe.

10 Stars all the way. Excellent meals, tonight the Short Ribs, the Beef Tips, and the pasta with Chicken! The menu shifts and changes, never boring and surprises the pallet! Excellent ambience, lovely lighting, open atmosphere, intimate, and everyone makes you feel at home. The desserts are an absolute must! The chocolate delight was to die for!! We will be coming back again and again!

Oh MY GOD..... where do I begin? I ate at the bar with Stephanie. She is knowledgeable, classy and best of all... A fellow foodie. The wine, the FOOD! And the service, was a total trifecta. I had the carpaccio with pan seared capers, gran padano and lemony arugula (yum!) and the the prawn stack with black rice and stir fried veg and the flavors of both were insane and beautiful. Kudos to the owners and staff that have grown something so special. Cannot WAIT to come back!!

What a gem of a restaurant! We were vacationing in the area and decided to visit based on the reviews. All of our dishes were superb! We tried the bruschetta, beef and prosciutto carpaccio, parmesan pepper caesar, dukkah brown butter scallops, tomahawk pork chop, and finished with a black forest triffle. The flavors and textures were unique and perfectly balanced. Hands down the best food we had on our trip.

We googled best steak in englewood fl and all our usual places popped up and hideaway so we said let's try it! It did not disappoint !! We ordered scallop app which was amazing one of us got steak tips which i must say was the best steak we have had since living in englewood for 4 years!! The other entree was tuna and that was great too! Prices were reasonable and food best we have had!! Service was fantastic too !Check it out!!!

Amazing find! The flavor, presentation and creativity of the meal was outstanding. The beef tips were cooked perfectly and the tuna ramen bowl provided a generous portion of tuna. We love cooking with different spices, flavors, and ingredients and the chef here obviously does too. I’m gluten free and all my questions were answered thoroughly even though it was the first night of the summer menu. It was happy to discover I could choose from several apps, entrees, as well as desserts and stay gluten free. We will be back!
